Welcome to WEAGA (“Wilson Electric and Automatic Gate,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, weaga.ca, as well as all electrical, automated gate, and high-performance overhead door services provided by WEAGA.

By accessing our website or hiring us for services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. Services Provided

WEAGA specializes in residential and commercial electrical work, automatic gate automation, barrier gates, and high-performance overhead door installation, maintenance, and repair services across the Lower Mainland and surrounding areas.

2. Estimates & Quotes

• Preliminary Estimates: Any quotes provided via telephone, email, or online forms are non-binding estimates based on the initial information provided.
• On-Site Verification: Final service pricing is confirmed following an on-site assessment by a WEAGA certified technician. Written quotes provided after on-site assessments are valid for 30 days unless specified otherwise in writing.

3. Payments & Billing

• Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of services or as outlined in your specific project contract/invoice.
• Accepted Methods: We accept major credit cards, direct bank transfers, and electronic funds transfers (EFT).
• Late Payments: Invoices not paid within the specified terms may be subject to a late fee or administrative interest charges until paid in full.

4. Workmanship & Warranty Coverage

• 2-Year Limited Warranty: WEAGA warrants that all qualifying new gate and electrical installations will be free from defects in workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of completion.
• Manufacturer Warranties: Equipment, motors, and parts installed by WEAGA carry individual warranties provided by their respective manufacturers (e.g., LiftMaster, CAME, FAAC).
• Exclusions: Our warranty does not cover damage caused by:
  • Misuse, neglect, vandalism, or unauthorized third-party modifications/repairs.
  • Vehicle collisions, physical impact, or external damage.
  • Acts of nature (e.g., severe weather, lightning strikes, flooding, pest infestation).
  • Power surges or failure to maintain regular servicing.

5. Emergency & 24/7 Service

While WEAGA offers emergency service, dispatch response times are subject to technician availability, severe weather conditions, and geographical constraints. Emergency dispatch rates apply outside standard operating hours.

6. Property Access & Customer Responsibilities

For on-site service appointments, the property owner or authorized representative agrees to:

• Provide clear and safe access to the work area, electrical panels, gate systems, and power sources.
• Ensure pets and children are safely kept away from active work areas.
• Disclose any known structural, electrical, or underlying property hazards prior to work commencement.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, WEAGA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from:

• Temporary loss of site access due to gate or door mechanical failure.
• Delays caused by manufacturer supply chain shortages or extreme weather.
• Third-party misuse of installed automated gate or door hardware.

8. Intellectual Property & Website Use

All content on weaga.ca—including text, graphics, logos, images, and software—is the property of WEAGA or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or copy content from this site without prior written permission.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
